1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, university, program, year of study, city, timezone, gender, and the answers you give during onboarding including your goals, interests, and ambitions. We also collect the pitch video you record, your coffee chat requests and messages, and your post-call feedback. We automatically collect device information, IP address, and usage data.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to match you with other users, generate AI-powered meeting prep guides and ambition briefs, operate and improve the app, send you notifications about coffee chat requests and matches, and process institutional subscriptions.
4. AI-Generated Content
Vizra uses artificial intelligence to generate content including ambition briefs, match explanations, and meeting prep guides. This content is generated automatically and may not always be accurate. We disclose clearly within the app whenever content has been generated by AI.
5. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers.
6. User-Generated Content
You are solely responsible for the content you upload to Vizra including your pitch video, onboarding answers, and chat messages. Vizra is not liable for user-generated content but reserves the right to remove content that violates our guidelines. Contact myvizra@gmail.com to report violations.
7. Data Sharing
We share your basic profile with other Vizra users for matching purposes. We use Supabase for storage, Clerk for authentication, and Anthropic for AI features as service providers.
8. Your Rights Under Ontario and Canadian Law
Under PIPEDA and Ontario privacy legislation you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account from within the app. Email myvizra@gmail.com to request a data copy or correction. We respond within 30 days.
9. California Residents
You have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of data sale. We do not sell data. Contact myvizra@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We respond within 45 days.
10. Institutional Data
When an institution subscribes to Vizra, we process student data on behalf of that institution as a data processor. Institutions can request full data deletion within 30 days of cancellation.
11. Email Communications
By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time. We comply with CASL and CAN-SPAM.
12. Security
We use encrypted data transmission, row-level database security, rate limiting, and secure API key management.
13. Children
Vizra is not intended for users under 16.
14. Changes
We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification.
